5 Top Apps To Help You Get Fit and Power Yoga Schedule

Hey Everyone!

So I really wanted to write a post highlighting a few great apps that I have used to lose weight or get fit through the years.

1. MyFitnessPal: When I first started losing weight, I had to log all my meals with a pen and notebook. This app really makes everything so much easier, and I still use it today! I highly recommend trying this app in addition to workouts.

2. Blogilates: Blogilates is one of my favorite workout programs. Casey will get you into shape so quickly with her Pop Pilates routines. Her app is a lot of fun to use, and includes amazing clean eating recipes.

3. Jim Stoppani Shortcut to Shred: If you are into body building, this app is for you! I absolutely love Jim Stoppani's approach to weight lifting. This workout is tough but totally worth it.

4. Map My Run: If you are already a runner, this app is great at tracking your runs. It links with MyFitnessPal, so it is my favorite running app.

5. C25K: If you are not a runner yet and you want to start running, this app is amazing! You will start off slow and become a runner in a matter of weeks. I recommend signing up for a 5k before starting the program to keep up the motivation.

New Years Fitness and Power Yoga Schedule

Hey Everyone! Happy New Years! I can't believe that it's already 2018! You know what that means... it's time for a new years fitness resolution. This year, we are going to sculpt our beach body early! No more waiting until the weather starts to warm up. My Power Yoga playlist this week is going to be intense. If at any point you need a break, take a break! That is the benefit of working out at home. Go at your own pace, and stop at any point if it is getting uncomfortable. Remember to listen to your body. It is not a race, your body will adapt to the poses in its own time. I hope you enjoy! My Fitness Journey Introduction and Power Yoga Schedule

Hey Everyone! Welcome to My Fitness Journey! I'm really excited to start this project since I am now 5 months post  a C-section. After I first got married, I decided to lose a lot of weight. Through diet and exercise, I was able to go from 150lbs to 110lbs. I felt absolutely amazing. I don't do any fancy dieting. I just eat clean and track every piece of food or drink I put in my mouth. Back in the day (2010?), I didn't have a fancy smart phone, so I was logging all my food in a notebook. It was very effective. I was able to visualize the calories in all my favorite foods, and adjust my diet to include more filling and lower calorie items. Now I use the app MyFitnessPal, and I highly recommend it. It is a free app that has been getting better and better each year. As for exercise, I found an amazing channel on youtube called Blogilates. The channel was only a year old, but Cassey was such an amazing instructor. I got into shape very quickly under her guidance. Sh...
